The smell of my Pumpkin Cheesecake candle I purchased this past weekend at Target is heavenly. Every time I walk past it, I'm hungry. So I decided to whip up this Pumpkin Cheesecake Pudding treat for one, okay it makes enough for two shooter glasses desserts, but I ate them both... so that makes it for one :)
This post is a little off from what I normally share on here but I wanted to talk about one of my addictions. Fall Television. The amount of shows I'm keeping up with right now is, well, its a lot. Some aren't as good as the others, but once I start watching... I can't stop. Here are my top five shows this fall and my full fall lineup:
{one} Revenge: I started watching this show middle of last week. Needless to say, I'm caught up on two and half seasons already. This is one of the best shows I've seen in a while on the standard networks. Emily Thorne has a reven-genda of taking down the Greysons. American Royalty who helped in the take down of her late father, framing him in a terrorist attack. You'll quickly fall in love with the characters and will be addicited... Sundays on ABC @ 9
{two} Dracula: Okay there has only been one episode so you can quickly catch up. But I was intrigued within the first three minutes. Dracula is back as an American Entrepreneur, named Alexander Greyson, bringing science to England. He quickly meets a lovely Mina, who seems to have some connection with his past. God I love me a vamp... Fridays on NBC @ 9
{three} The Walking Dead: If you haven't seen the first three seasons of this one, you may not be American. I've been watching this one since college and still am a huge fan. And this season is the best so far since the first... Sundays on AMC @ 9
{four} New Girl: I had to throw one comedy in the mix. Zooey Deschanel stars in a fun comedy about three roommates and herself. This show makes me laugh every week which is always a good thing... Tuesdays on FOX @ 9
Fall Line Up:
Sunday: The Walking Dead, Once Upon a Time, Revenge
Tuesday: Ravenswood, New Girl, The Originals
Wednesday: Modern Family, Nashville
Thursday: Vampire Diaries, Glee, Once Upon a Time in Wonderland
Friday: Dracula
Thats 12 hours of TV a week, is that too much? What shows are you addicted to this Fall? I'd love to know, since I'm always willing to add another show to my line up...
{one} Oak Lawn Block Party: This Saturday is a Halloween Block Party that I'll be attending. Over 30,000 people will be there! So my Halloween costume for this event will be... uh yeah haven't gotten that far yet. Ideas anyone?
{two} New Blog Design: I've spent the last two weeks figuring out what I wanted my blog to look like and its finally complete! What do you think?
{three} John Frieda Heat Protectant: I am crazy about John Frieda products lately. They've been making my hair look better than ever. The Heat Protectant definitely has been preventing some frizz...
{four} Revenge: This show is the best. Better than vampire diaries and pretty little liars put together. If you haven't watched it, open up Netflix right now and watch it. You will not be disappointed friends!
{five} Paleo Chocolates: These chocolates are delicious. And they're paleo. Perfect Halloween Treat? Yes indeed...
Halloween is almost here, which means Thankgiving is coming. Are you excited? Well I'm freaking out. I am to cook the Thanksgiving meal this year, which is terrifying me. Solution? Organization in my favorite form. Printables :) I'll be using these to organize my Thanksgiving meal and to-do's for the big day. I've also added a fun printable to replace my current Halloween Print. Print away friends.
Halloween means one thing to me. Candy. Okay it means other things like costumes and scary movies and pumpkins, but for the sake of this post, it means Candy. I loved going trick or treating as a little girl. We would use pillowcases as bags because we would get so much candy... sigh. Now I'm living a grown up life where stuffing your face with candy is not acceptable. cough only in the privacy of my own home in the closet with the door closed cough. Just kidding. So I whipped up these tasty paleo treats. Best part? You know there are no preservatives or chemicals :)
Howdy friends! Halloween is next Thursday... uhhhh what! We don't have official plans yet, but I'll probably need a costume. So I've put together some simple costumes you can create with just what you have in your closet. :) The featured masks are from Masquerade Me, a great shop on etsy that provides hand made beautiful masks!
Monday already... sigh. I am happy to say I had a very fun weekend filled with fried beer and fried oreos at the state fair! Nothing says Texas like that place... But after all the fun on Saturday, I've come down with a dreaded cold on Sunday and I'm feeling 10x worse today. Hopefully this doesn't turn into the flu. Anyone want to share some Vitamin C?
This week I have some pretty simple goals... lets go!
{one} Finish my final blog design: I've been working on this for a few weeks now and it is finally starting to come together. I must have changed the concept 100 times. But I think by the end of the week it will be ready for its big premiere... Here is a little preview, what the to in Tattered to Taylored will look like...
{two} Sunshine Award: I am beyond excited for this one! Jamie over at The Growing Up Diaries has nominated me for the Sunshine Award! Yipee! So this week I must fill out my answers :)
{three} Paleo Chocolate: I love chocolate. Love, love love. But we try to eat Paleo round here, boo I know. So I'm going to attempt to make some Paleo chocolate this week for a Halloween treat. I'll share if it goes well. If I don't, well you know what happened.
{one} This spice combination from Simply Scratch is spot on. I've been using in it fajita chicken bowls and I love it. The bit of cinnamon is a surprise :)
1 tbsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of red pepper flakes
{two} Fall Woodchuck Cider: This is beyond the best Fall cider I've ever had. Its the perfect mix of apple and pumpkin. If you're looking for a tasty drink to carve pumpkins with... this is it!
{three} Here for the Boo-s: Yep I'm featuring this glass. It is what you should pour your fall cider into this weekend :) You can make your own with the instructions from here:
{four} Allegiant: Did you read the Divergent series? If you haven't, its similiar to The Hunger Games and you'll quickly be addicted to this one. Well the final book in the trilogy comes out next week. And I am so excited I've been re-reading the first two :)
{five} Buffy: Am I late to the party? Happy Weekend y'all!
